Many coaches begin coaching with aspirations of being a positive impact on the lives of others. But the daily grind of balancing teaching, coaching, discipline, games, parents, and a thousand other duties can make it hard to remember that. FCA wants to partner with coaches as a non-judgemental, non-partisan encourager. FCA Coaches Network is about supporting coaches and sharing life with one another. We are here to help.
You get from us what you want from us. Our goal is simply to partner with any coach who needs it. We want to encourage you to coach leaving a positive legacy. The following choices are with coaches in mind to do just that.
1. RESOURCES - We believe coaches need to keep an eternal perspective and books are the best way to accomplish that. There are many out there, but we highlight a few that we have seen make an impact on coaches. If you are willing or considering leading a coaches study through one of these resources, we will give it to you free!
2. COACHES STUDIES Accountability is huge. We, as FCA staff are willing to meet one on one or as a group with you. Again, if you are willing to consider leading one at your school, we will provide your resource free.
3. TEAM CHAPELS Always thought it would be cool to have a team chapel but unsure of how to do it? We are here to help and in some cases, could lead it for you. Whether you lead it or find someone else to lead it, we want to make it easy on you so click on TEAM CHAPEL RESOURCES.
4. PRACTICE PLAN ideas. Want to incorporate a daily thought or topic in your practice plan? Use these resources and encourage your athletes over the length of the season with small thoughts each day and you have helped mold their minds on character issues.
